Randy Diehl has nearly 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, much of it in an entrepreneurial role. He founded Financial Strategies Group in 2003.

Holding Series 7 and Series 65 securities registrations, Randy is also licensed in life and long-term care insurance. He earned a Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designation, helping him gain an in-depth understanding of the practical, legal, and ethical aspects of life insurance and its techniques and tools, and he also earned and holds his Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation, providing him with comprehensive training about insurance, taxation, retirement, and estate planning.

“I enjoy learning about each client’s life and goals, and also learning about their careers. I truly enjoy working with my clients on their plans in order to help them achieve their desired retirement lifestyles,” he says.

Randy’s favorite part of his job is helping people navigate retirement successfully and giving them peace of mind by creating retirement income strategies that are less affected by market volatility and help reduce the risk of outliving their wealth.

“Our job is to educate and inform people. We take a different approach to our work as advisors. We focus on the monthly retirement income goal and work hard to help ensure that income is both reliable and protected throughout a client’s lifetime. We also find strategies to help people transfer wealth to loved ones and favorite charities in a tax-advantaged way,” he says.

After growing up in Monroe, Michigan, Randy attended Adrian College, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in finance from the University of Toledo.

Randy and his wife, Anne, have one grown daughter, Gabby.  They remain active and involved in the community of Findlay.
